Each country is scored 0–100 as the unweighted mean of four equally-weighted components — cost of living adjusted for currency strength, real flight fares, season, and attractiveness — using only whichever of the four have data for that country. A country missing a component is scored on the rest, not penalized for the gap.

Real flight fares come from the Travelpayouts Aviasales Data API. This deployment doesn't have a Travelpayouts API token configured yet, so no country currently has a real fare, and the flight component is left out of every score until one is added.

Missing data is excluded, never invented or defaulted. Right now all 89 countries have a cost score, 89 have a season score from climate normals, and 86 have attractiveness data, while flight fares are not collected on this deployment. Each country is scored on whichever components it has, and the figure you see always says how many that was. See the Methodology page for the full breakdown.
